I highly suggest a Creative Labs Sound Blaster card. Lost password/username? The audio plays fine when I'm watching the programs, but after it saves them and is done recording, I hear no audio..

I'd literally have to see your system, even the OS version and drivers versions it's using, to give that level of help. If I knew in what I was going into when I began this project, I will have think about it twice! You almost have to see a half dozen different systems in action to understand. If I try to connect to ANY stereo input, including the input jacks on the external control box, I get a lag on audio. This site is completely free -- paid for by advertisers and donations. That's what I'd buy.

When I record, the audio seems to be doubled, it's like 2 of the same streams repeated at a short delay, but it isn't on the recording, just when i'm watching so if you mute the Line In, but leave Wave unmuted, do you not get any TV sound at all? i cant find where to edit the audio setting either. My sound card sounds great playing a CD, and I even checked it's line-in input with another audio source and that sounded clean.
