How do you know it's a virus sir? If we have ever helped you in the past, please consider helping us. EDIT: I have just been able to start the system in SAFE MODE and been able to achieve a spyware scan and virus scan. Never run more than one scan at a time.
Shoot if it were me and i had a fast internet connection i'd just re-install windows completely and re-install all my programs if it was a option. The scans will start and then without warning (and no bsod) the computer just shuts down (atabout 26 - 28% through the scan according to AVG) . You basically were advertising when you said "Norton IS THE BEST" when in fact its most likely a false statement with no factual evidence to back it up. As mentioned before you will need to do all of this in safe mode because doing it in Windows normal mode isn't going to work. If you are going to have the balls to try and call somebody out in such a condescending manner, make sure you are right. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
