No Sound After Installing Graphics Card

I do still get an Ubuntu startup sound when I reboot the PC, but after it is up and I am logged in, I cannot even get a sound from "aplay I was unable to play sound through AMD HDMI Output. Jan 17 Car Crash Effect any Ideas?
