thank you. You can always load ISO or other immage files with compression software or emulated drives like daemon tools or virtual clone drive. I even found a Microsoft fix page that led me to edit the Registry, which I did. Mine was called "DVD/CD-ROM drives." Double-click it to show it's contents and there should be another device under it. Check This Out
Please reinstall itunes. - I get this when I open itunes, then I can go to my playlist and click burn cd but then I get a message at the top Matshita DVD RW UJ8A7AS In the past (after installing DVD decoder programs and ANY DVD) the computer wouldn't even recognize the dvd drive. The most obvious problem is a hardware issue in respect of the CD laser diode having failed, however that would not explain CD data discs still being able to be read! Not only does this apply to computers, but also home entertainment DVD players. It kept saying insert blank disk. This is pretty ridiculous.

Do not use compression software Compression software can cause several issues during the recording process.
You could also check the Properties of the disc.Other than that, I have no more ideas. Could someone please help me? Get geeky trivia, fun facts, and much more. I put a blank disk in and nothing happens.
