I encountered the same texture issue on my home PC too, with ancient radeon drivers and one GPU, but after cleaning all previous and installing new drivers everything was ok. Once your booted backup windows should not be installing any drivers, install the drivers you downloaded previously and you should be good to go, windows should stop messing with your drivers.
